^ What kid can afford a Hyundai Genesis?

Around here they typically don't sell for more than 10k AND THIS IS DURING THE USED CAR SALES INSANITY. Contrarians use to get them to show up Merc owners, now they get them to show up Civic R owners but anything with this K20 gen can walk them.

Because it's a Hyundai. It's affected by typical Hyundai depreciation.

For what it's worth, I've never heard anyone refer to it as "Merc" in my life. There's nothing wrong with spelling things out- it's a simple way to eliminate a good amount of potential confusion.

You can't be this autistic. They call it Merc right on tv when you watch F1 and in many talk groups about cars online. . .
No, not autistic - I just spell things out in full on the internet, minimize use of acronyms and abbreviations, that's all. Keeps the conversation flowing with no chance of misunderstanding.

So I'll ask agan: 'Merc'edes or 'Merc'ury?

🤦‍♂️....great.

I always say Mercury when I mean Mercury and Mercedes when I mean Mercedes Benz. Must be in my upbringing?
