Can I peel off this I assume factory door guard? I don't like them. Can it damage the paint? View attachment 545196

I also removed this clear protective because it started collecting dirt making it a eye sore, I removed it the wrong way by just pulling them off and it left so much adhesive but after a few times of wiping that area down with dw40 it was like it wasn’t even there, I should of use heat like others suggested, maybe a hair blow dryer. No, it did not damage the paint whatsoever when I pulled up. Peace
