While the debate is still on, here's my take on method for cleaning the plastic PCV valve on this car.

I'm in the camp of using only plastic safe chemicals. I use a 2-step process. Water-based engine degreaser, then plastic-safe quick-drying cleaner...

Worked quite well. Very satisfied.

Got the whole procedure on video in case you prefer that format.

What do you think? Overkill or appropriate?
