LX have the cloth interior. The EX have a "higher quality" cloth interior.

So how are they holding up for your type of use? Does the interior have some sort of odor (be honest)? Do/did you/how often you shampoo it?

Please specify which one you own, if it's not listed on your signature.

I have an 08 LX-P. My cloth is still in like new condition and smells like new too. I honestly have done nothing since the time I've had it. Are you having a problem with yours?

I have the EX model and my interior smells pretty decent. They are tan inside and for being a daily car, it's holding up well. No tear or no signs of wearing.

My lx-p had the black/ "suede" looking cloth. Looked like new at 100k. I swapped in leather though.

How much did the seats cost you? I'm trying to do the same.

As far as pricing you would need to call a roadwire dealer.
Wow that looks amazing. Are those covers or were the seats re-upholstered?

As to the original question, I've had my EX black cloth for 10 months now with regular use and they are holding up well. I usually give them a good wipe down with a wet microfiber towel once a week.

I picked the EX because it has cloth and is holding up nicely after 54k miles. I have leather in my other Honda Motor products and it ****s after 100k. It's HOT in the summer and Cold in the winter. Honda put heaters on them because of this and now they put ac blowers for the hot. My problem is I want a fully loaded car with out leather,,, good luck finding that,,,,

I have the V6 EX sedan w/ cloth interior (just the way I wanted it). Black on Black.
My car is a 2010 that I got new in Dec 10, & as of today I got approx 17000 miles on it.

No issues with the cloth, no funny smells or anything like that.

I try to was & vaccume my car once a week, so that is all I have been doing to it.

My car is used as daily driver to & from work so most of the wear is on the driver's seat (I'm a big guy), but it is not any unusual wear or holes/rips nothing like that.

2010 EX w/ Grey cloth...

23K and overall VERY disappointed with the way the seats have worn. Bolsters have very noticable wear from getting in and out. Wife and I are both "less than average weight"....

Our 140k 98 lx seats look NEW. Her '04 Volvo looks new.

I got the EX and love my cloth. I plan on doing a nice cleaning to it this April, probably a shampoo. But after 26,500kms in less then 1 year it has no signs of wearing.

I have a White Exterior Black cloth.

Mine is lxp with charcoal/black interior. Most part of the seats are made up of thick charcoal cloth. Sides are made up of something like black sued cloth. Charcoal part of the seat looks good and organic.

the sides of my fiancee's lx-p are starting to get these little white spots which I realize now are wear marks. I'll have to look into that roadwire kit. They look immaculate and a TIGHT fit. She would LOVE that. What's the ballpark for that set up please?

J.

70,000 miles on my ex coupe w/black cloth interior, & its absolutely mint. Looks/smells perfect. I am the 2nd owner, so I,thank the last fella for taking great care of it, & all I do is vacuum it about once a week

2008 lx-p with a tan color interior. I originally wanted leather seats (I live in NC so the weather is permitting), but the suedish feel is very soft, so I think I can live with it. 50 something miles and its held up great. I don't vacuum as often as I should, but I rent a shampooer from Home Depot and shampoo my seats and floormats about every other month. No smells, luckily.

I specifically wanted the cloth. The leather seemed really cheap, and I think the base cloth is more than nice enough for me.

I have/had both, LX & EX cloth interiors, both tan in color. No smells that I've ever noticed. However, I much preferred the LX cloth over the EX. In fact, I turned down the 1st EX we saw because the seats looked and felt inferior to the LX's. Also on the LX, in just under 3yrs of ownership, I only had the seats cleaned once and that was 2yrs in and after moving (boxes and clothes on the back seat. The EX however, just w/ normal use, I had to have them cleaned only 6 months. The texture/dimples seem to trap dirt and everything else.
