Anyone else see this yet? 2018 EX-L 1.5. Was just just cruising along with lane keep and ACC on.

MODERATOR EDIT:
As of 8 May 2019, a Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) was issued by Honda to address this issue:

Same thing happen to me last week cruising down the interstate. I have a 2018 Accord Touring 1.5L. My local dealer worked with Honda Tech Support and found a defective brake pedal switch. The tech stole a brake switch from a new Accord to get me back on the road.

Thanks for the info. Gonna swing by my dealer after work Monday.

Hi have not had this but interested to see what it could be.

I had a BLIS error pop up after my tint was done. I assume it was water in a mirror or something.

Just got the same warning today and came here to see if anyone else got it. Turning off the car and turning it back on made it go away, but definitely going to the dealer Monday.

I got this message in conjunction with a message about front sensor problem. The sensor was coated with slush and ice. After clearing the sensor and restarting the car, both messages went away.

I kind of hate bringing this up as so many quality issues have already come up and I just LOVE this car but I thought I should share. I finally got past the first 600 miles and finally got a chance to open up the car today. All seemed good, was very responsive. When I bought the car, the salesman told me they would match tire prices. We have had nothing but bad luck with the Michelins on our 2016 Odyssey, so I found the cheapest price for the tires I wanted and the dealer did match. We had an appointment to drop the van off today, so I was in the Accord on the way to meet my wife at the dealer and the car feel on its face and totally lost power. No warning lights or anything. I figured it needed to be rebooted. We dropped the van off got in the Accord to head home, pulled out of the dealer, same thing only this time it seemed to grab the brakes. My dash lit up with every warning you can think of. TPMS, Brake Mitigation, Brake system, Check engine, Vehicle Stability Assist, Hill Start Assit Problem, and so on. We turned around after only making it a block and drove right back to the dealership. They were surprised to see us again. Showed them the dash and they said they would have a tech run code on it right away. Turns out one of the turbo tubes was loose. They fixed it, test drove it, and had us back on the road in 30min. While it was a hassle, I am so glad the stars aligned and it happen at the dealership! It could have been much worse. I think it is crazy that all the safety features went crazy and the TPMS when it was obviously just an engine issue.

I had the same problem happen this past Friday driving home. I was mad but I got home turned the car off and immediately turned it back on and it went away. Been driving it the whole weekend and it hasn't given me an issue. If it happens again i'm taking it.

If it happens again, if you're not in a hurry to be anywhere, it'd be best to drive it straight to the dealership with the warning lights on so they can see it in the failed state.

Ya that's exactly what I was going to do. I took a picture of it but I wonder on these system if it shows some kind of history? If the car has thrown any codes then goes away? Or does the code have to be present and always come back when turned on?

It happened to me about 3 times... I took a video because the car would also rev like crazy and hardly go anywhere when it did this... they ended up putting a new transmission in at 1300 miles and haven’t had an issue since

Took the car to the dealer and they said it was normal warning. They referred me to a trouble shooting #U0401-92 Temporary stop of Integrated Driver Support System, which basically says the error isn't a failure. When it popped up I went through the driver support options and wasn't able to disable/enable it. Only shutting off the car completely and turning it back on fixed it.

Three days ago the Collision Braking Mitigation, Road Departure and ACC "see your dealer" warnings came on while driving in some awful, snowy, slushy conditions. When I got to my destination, I looked at the front sensing unit and saw that it was covered in a thick layer of ice - which I couldn't remove easily. Every start since then has resulted in the display of the same three "see your dealer" errors, even though the ice has now melted off of the sensor. I guess I have to find time to take it to the dealer now.

If you think there isn't a problem and just want to do a factory reset, you could pull you negative battery cable for 10min and reconnect. Upon first startup things will go a little crazy on the dash but after driving for a mile or so, everything will recalibrate. Beats taking it into the dealer sometimes, when that's all they might do anyway.

Isn't that the same as the old "don't worry about it they all do it" excuse? Seems odd the warning would tell you to see the dealer just so he could tell you it's normal.

When I got the collision mitigation failure I told the dealer I wanted it fixed. The tech found error codes and he worked several hours with Honda Tech Support. They had him connect a computer and take it for a test drive.

Then he sent the data to Honda and they analyzed it and determined the brake switch was defective. The computer showed when he pressed the brake pedal one time it reported both on and off - like the pedal was pressed and not pressed at the same time.

The tech removed the switch and said it felt like it was sticking. A new switch fixed the problem.

Wish my dealer was as thorough as yours. We'll see what happens the next time around when the error pops up and I take it to the dealer.
