I wanted to share the following info to let others know there are deals out there on new Accords.

I have been looking to purchase a 08 Accord Coupe EX-L V6 6spd (no navi) for sometime in the Indianapolis area. I had been successful in getting two dealerships down to $27,177. Then I received an email from one of the dealerships indicated a 1 week sale which involved 1 cent over invoice on all 08 s with special Honda financing from 2.9% to 3.9%. This was not adverstised in the local market on either TV or in the newspaper.

Needless to say I jumped all over this puppy, resulting in the purchase of said vehicle for $26,533.31 with a 3.9% fixed rate.

Great time to purchase a new vehicle!!!

great score! congrats on the purchase! that is quite the deal ... penske , down in greenwood? indy honda?

Yes please, which dealer? mine is still on order which I will pull if I can find a car on lot for this price.

Actually the dealership had to perform a swap with another dealer outside of the state. I actually drove through the Honda dealership on the south side today (Saturday) and they had at least 4 08 coupes sitting on the lot. Did not get out, thanks to the lovely weather we are having, so I do not know which models they have.

How many months, 36?

For an EX-L V6 coupe..... that's a nice price.

Seems like Honda's gearing up to get the '08's moving, to make way for the '09's. I'd imagine that in 2 - 3 months, you'll be able to pick up an '08 for below invoice.

Coupe color?

I just got the Accord V6 coupe in Socal at invoice! (EX-L) 26,533

I am going to buy the car when they get my color in (Black)

Not releasing the dealer but they are somewhere in CA if that helps at all =P

NOT TO WORRY!... I went surfing around and found a unit locally... literally just off truck with 4 miles, red on black manual v6 coupe(6-6), and went over and bought it off the floor $26,700... lifetime oil changes. AWESOME!!!!

Now to tell the folks I had my car on order with(six weeks no car as yet) that I can not afford two of these lovelys. I am sooooo happy, car feels like 5.7sec 0-60 dispite the weight.
Peace
Schu

Honda was offering 36 months at 2.9% or 37 - 60 months at 3.9%. I went with 60 months @3.9%

Also went with the Black on Black

im a finance mgr for honda and we dont have the 3.9 from honda financial.. at least not in my state... it could be in his area but not in the south.. that is a fantastic rate on the new accords.. i hope the rate follows state to state in the near future. honda must have inventory stackin up in that market to get that incentive..getting a car for invoice and freight should not be all that hard on all models sedan and coupes except for the V6 navi cars..

I too got the 60 mo/3.9% on an '08 Coupe V6 with Nav (27600+TTL) recently, I know a great internet guy for those in the North TX area.

holy s^%$....US prices are crazy cheap. 7-8Gs more up in Canada....thats why ive been waiting til July to wait til 09s come out so the 08s are reduced....the financing is cheap here though 0.9% for 36 mos. Wonder what they'll offer in the upcoming months to clear their 'old' 08 inventory.
