It's not difficult to change the spark plugs yourself on a V6. I have done this several times. After my initial difficulty retrieving the spark plug socket from the deep plug well after installing a new plug; it was stuck on the plug screwed into the head and my extension pulled out of the socket, I purchased a spark plug socket with a built-in swivel extension from Autozone for around $15 at the time. The total unit is 11" long and securely holds the plug when removing the old one and when installing the new one and everything stays together. The Duralast part number is 75-520.
