I know that our accord coupes have a halogen projector housing, and instead of running HID's in them and blinding everyone, i did a bulb conversion so i can get some more output, with a relatively low cost. I did order an HID kit for my car, however I am going to be buying proper HID projectors so they'll have a perfect cutoff.

I bought 2 H9 bulbs from amazon and the difference is actually quite drastic in output. The H11 bulbs sacrifice performance for longevity, however I wanted the performance over longevity with the H9's. As I have access to a garage and know how to change the bulbs, its not that big of a deal if i have to change the bulbs when they die.

Removing the bumper is not necessary. Pulling just the battery is much faster.
Not sure how good of an idea it is replacing a capped bulb with a non-capped...

Inside a projector headlight the non capped bulb is not an issue.

I'm running HIDs on the factory accord coupe projector housing and have a sick cut off. I don't blind anyone and have confirmed from various people.

Pulled my HID kit out recently and went with the H9s. I have been VERY impressed equally as much output just a different color.
