You can see these from 3 cars away clearly.

Plan: Take out the SPORT foglight housing and use the LX fog cover with these COB LED fitted to the LX fog cover. I took pictures from the side because straight front blinded me.

Awesome!! I'm actually in the process of doing something similar right now, but while keeping the stock foglights in place. Man, those cob DRLs are pricey though.
I actually agree with c7loud for once. These LEDs are VERY BRIGHT even during the DAYTIME. From my observations, you can see these clearly from much more than 3 cars away. I have a bunch of these for a project that I have yet to reveal.

Yes, these are waterproof and are surprisingly well constructed. There is no heatsink. The body is anodized black metal.

However do note that when the lights are off, the LEDs look YELLOW because of the yellow phosphor coating needed for WHITE LED emitters.

These are not pricey at all. I bought 5 pairs for $14.40 shipped from Taiwan. Got it on eBay.
lol @ On2. He's correct on everything from the previous statement. or you can buy them from Amazon as well. Easy DIY, when they're combine, the light output is awesomely bright!!!

I think it will take like around 18 total of these COB LED for this project. 9 on each side for the LX Fog light cover. It's cheaper than those other DRL light and it's a fun easy project to do.
I haven't taken out the foglights but I think it'll be tight to fit these in with the foglight on. I was thinking the same thing too, but I think it might be too busy if the foglight stay there.

Let's see some pictures with them on your accord!
It's in progress, as you can see from the picture, it's being power by my external HD case.

How much are these lights, and what website offers them for sale?

Thanks

Did you not read? He states Amazon. I stated ebay. All in the above posts.

I did, but a link will help, because I did look on eBay and Amazon but I couldn't find the same item that he has! Can you tell me what price range that I have to use? Or the name or the power of this kind of COB led?

That's exactly what I was searching about! Thanks a lot, I didn't know the "eagle eye" part and I got thousands of items in the search results :D
These would look great inside the non-LED DRL headlights for those who are opening their headlights up.
Here you go man, something like this:

This would be great in the Non-DRL strip, but it might be too hot and might fuse with headlight lol

Thanks, I found one on eBay and the seller offered me 16pcs for $39 still it's expensive, I prefer paying extra for a OEM fog lights than spending about $60 on this project and it might work or not!

I'll wait for ur results and I might change my mind lol

I just installed two of those in the lower bolt holes on my rear license plate and spliced them in to the stock reverse lights and they add a noticeable amount of light within 30 ft when in the middle of the bush.

Looking forward to seeing these as an array. I'm assuming you will be setting them up similar to my 10 mm LED fog lights?

Yup, similar to your setup and I might use a smoke color tint on these eagle eye LED to mask the COB yellow color.

SPORT model and up comes with OEM fog light, but I'm removing it and use the space as DRL bar.
