Does anyone else have this problem?

Its had it ever since i bought the car used if i can remember.
But its burly become annoying to me now.

Is there anyway to remove the clear plastic so i can clean underneath it?
(and easily put it back on)
I have no idea how dust could of gotten under it.
Theres also a large scratch on the side, its out of the shot a lil so its hard to see, if you also have a solution to remove scratches that would be much appreciated.

Thanks :]

I have the same problem....but not quite that bad, yet.

I had a similar problem with my old Razr phone....the screen could be lifted with a razor blade and the glue remained tacky enough to go back in place. I'm afraid to try this on my car, however.

Hopefully someone can shed some light on this predicament.

Thanks for the Link! :]

But that is showing how to put back on a NEW plastic piece.
Has anyone ever done this but put back on the old piece after cleaning?
Does the glue still stick? if so does it show all globby once the piece is back on? since the plastic over the glued areas is clear, right?
Thanks;]

There will still be some adhesion left, but you are better off just getting a new screen to ensure proper adhesion. Reason I say this is once you break that seal, then it will never be the same and more dust will end up in there as time goes on.

could this be considered a warranty issue? the dust that is, not the looseness, even though the dust implies something is loose to let dust in

IMO that is a 3/36 warranty issue. Defective seal. Not wear and tear. that's my story and sticking with it.

Finally blew away the dust under the display. The dealer sent me the wrong part, but I'll keep it. Now I have fake premium audio. :lmao:
