i want to do a minimal drop on my 17 accord sport and after some research ive come to a conclusion the eibach pro kit is exactly what im looking for. Now my question is, everywhere i look it says 13-15 accord. Why is that? will it not work on a 2017 year model?

Im looking to change my wheels to 18" TSW nurburgring and 245/45 tires with the eibach lowering springs.

any feedback would be appreciated.

The eibach.com website says beginning to ending year for the accord is from 2013 to 2017. They should fit. I have had both proline and sportline many years ago. In my experience proline is a stiffer ride while sportline gives a smoother softer ride even though it's more of a drop.

I used the Eibach pro kit back in '97/'98 on my Acura. The drop was modest, about 1.3" The pro kit, made the car handle a lot better, and improved the overall stance a bit. However, pro kit ended up wearing out my the factor dampers within about 2 years. Not sure how much better the pro kit is suited for OEM dampers these days, but take the time to research this if you already haven't; as it's best to do everything right the first time, when it comes to suspension upgrades/changes.

thanks for the great info. I figured since the springs dont really drop the car that much. 1" in front and 0.7" in rear, i shouldnt need to worry too much.

The reason i want to go with these springs is that i dont want a big drop in the car, 1" max. I dont know if its worth spending over $1k in coilovers for a minimal drop.

I'm Glad I bought this product!

I believe you'll witness your Accord come to life a bit more w/ purchase & installation of the Eibach springs! I have em on my 14 Touring w/ 18x9 et40 wheels and 225/40/18 tires and even in Chicago I'm ok w/ the ride on 40 series tires. haven't had any damper issues since making all my upgrades in March 2015... ONLY thing I can't stand bout my ride is the governor kickin in at 125mph :-( I swear this engine seems like it can handle 150 mph+

Thinking about eventually doing this to my '16 *EXL. A relatively subtle mod possibly in conjunction with up-sizing to 18s. Thanks for posting!
