Idle air control system RPM lower than expected. On my 2003 Honda Accord ex v6. The common problems are idle air control valve problems for the code but the v6 doesn’t have an idle air control valve (according to google). It doesn’t sound like I have a vacuum leaks and my throttle body seems to be in good conditions.

Any ideas?

I'd first remove the throttle body and clean both sides. Use a new gasket when reinstalling. I'd also make sure that the air intake tube is crack free, air tight. Hopefully this fixes the problem.

^^ This! The air intake tube is probably cracked at that age.

A cracked tube shouldn't actually effect the idle at all, the V6 has no MAF sensor, so all air measurements occur at the throttle body. The only way to get unmetered air in the engine is to have a vacuum leak.

If there's no obvious vacuum leaks, I'd clean and reinstall the throttle body.
