I have a 2023 Accord LX, about half the time after I start my car, 30 seconds later I get this error message "System update is not available. See your dealer " The only reference to this I can find online is when I do a TSB search:
Honda TSB 23-045

Have any of you seen this?

Thanks in advance

I have not seen it say it is not available, but sometimes when I turn my car off it tells me there is an update available and to check the manual. It says nothing about it in the manual. You need to download the Honda Link app and perform the update from there. Maybe yours can be fixed the same way? Make sure it has the latest update

I'm not criticizing of owners of new cars & trucks with electronics. These devices are shoved down our throats as car buyers whether we want them or not. It's why I hang onto my 8th gen.

Actually, there is a section in the owner's manual about system updates, page 246. Updates via the telematics control unit (TCU) are the easiest and hassle-free. The Honda Link app is useless for me and after initial attempts to use it after purchasing the car, I see no point in using it.

Agree. All of my updates came automatically thru the built in Telematics and I do not use a HondaLink account

I cannot find any way to for an Update on my 2023 Accord LX using a TCU - or any reference to "TCU" or "telematics" on the basic radio that comes with the LX, or on the speedometer display, in the manual (p246 is a part of a 15 license agreement)

Thanks in advance View attachment 553639 ] I bought the same vehicle and this message pops up every time I start it. I called the dealer and fixed an appointment to force update it. I'm not sure if it will be a fix or not. I heard from some owners, that it popped up again despite the update.

Same issue here. I have the EX and have not been able to find any setting to update the system using the TCU (which doesn't exist on my vehicle) or through wifi which I have not been able to figure out how to connect. I also checked on the HondaLink website and after entering my VIN, it states "data is not available". Gotta love it!

I had the same problem. The dealer tech told me the LX/EX models are not able to get OTA updates like the higher up models. He told me that I would have to bring it in to get the updates. I don’t know if that is really true, but that‘s the line they gave me when I took it in.

I have a 2024 Honda Accord, purchased in Dec 2023. This began posting as early as Feb 2024. I called Honda and was told take it to the dealer. Dealer could not fix it. I called Honda a second time. They re-opened the ticket and called me two weeks ago. I have had no communication with them since that time. This needs to be addressed immediately.
