I love the looks of my Coupe with HFP. Owned a 96' Accord for 15 years with no complaints. Bought new EXL V6 Couple in 2009. At 19k miles yesterday my auto. trans. started slipping
and missing. Dealer states "It threw a code we never have seen before and
we may have to replace it with a factory rebilt." (@ 19K miles 90% highway miles!).

They are also going to replace the Whole steering column for "pops and creaks".

Just had the rear brake recall done this past summer. XM radio cuts out intermittantly...told to wait last year for a service recall.

Compass blinks constantly...told my new rearspeakers have "too large magnets compared to the stock thumbnail size ones and no repair is possible. Have the usual rattles from the rear deck lid. \

I would not mind all the little stuff, but if this keeps up I'll never buy another Honda Vehicle. I guess I'm lucky its happening under warrenty.

Aside from everything else, the compass blinking is totally your fault. Relocate the compass or just unplug it.

Sorry about the transmission though.

I was told unplugging the compass would "throw a code" on the dash"
I still might try the unplug as my I know someone with an ODB II code scanner
who could reset it if needed.
My JVC Arsenol speakers make the sound system come alive...I would hate to
remove them after the mods I had to make to fit them in.

Unplugging the compass does not throw a code. Fact.
