( i have a 2013 accord ex with Navi. Black on black)

This morning I was driving on a wet road after a rain storm flew by my city. All of a sudden my dashboard lights up and I get a few failures on the message window. I pull over and shut the car off. Turn it back on and it's still showing. I drive a few feet and the message and error lights turn off, and everything is back to normal. Could it have been a glitch caused by the water? Is it something I should have them check? Has it happened to anyone?

I have not gotten an error message but the FCW has gone off several times in the rain, and fog with no cars in front of me...I read somewhere that Honda says something about it not always working correctly in inclement weather. Snow, rain, fog, ice, etc., so it may indeed be from the rain and water. But worth a trip to the dealer to check out since it is still under warranty.

don't take your car to me, read the owners manual like someone said.

rain and snow can affect it's ability to operate as it uses a camera mounted in the upper part of the windshield by the mirror. rain drops can cause the image it recieves to be magnified, causing false readings, as the manual says.

I understand that it can give you false readings but what i dont like is that it gives me a fcw system failure message and the Abs and traction control and a steeringwheel light come on and stay on till i turn car off and still it remains on for a few feet of driving after i turn car back on. It happend again today as i started to drive in the rain.

bump... same problem is happening to my car... has yours been repaired? the current lights that come on are... FCW, LDW, Air Bag, Check Engine, Power Steering, ABS, and Tire Pressure monitoring system. On top of that my ac stops working (the blower is on but no cold air... i brought it to the dealer the first time, they had "Reset" the computer... Clearly this did not fix the problem

This happened to mine, except it was no rain or inclement weather. It was just a hot ass day in Houston. I took it to one dealership they tried to tell me there was oil in my gas and quoted me 1400 to repair. Took to another Honda dealership and they said the computer was just freaking out and they reset it and its been fine since. I have the V6 AT coupe.

When I test drove a ex-l v6 on a very hot day the FCW light came on right away. The sales guy said very hot conditions can play with the camera causing failure. He had me turn the AC on and blow on the window for a few min, the light turned off and worked once cooled down. Funny thing is, we drove a few other V6 and they all did the same thing.

This happened to me when my battery died. I took the battery out to recharge it overnight and when I put it back in all those lights were on. A few blocks from the house they went off and I haven't seen them since. The service adviser said it was just because they went nuts because they were without power for a period.

Have a 2013 Crosstour 700 miles on car same problem as above car at dealer now but they seem confused any other solutions??

This just happened to me today too. All lights on the dash went on but still drove ok. Car sat for an hour and was fine again. Anyone find any solutions?

^^^ Me too, anyone find out whats wrong? It went away but dont want it happening again...

So I took my car to the dealer and the first time, all they did was erase the codes to see if it would come back. It did 4 days later.

Brought it in the second time today and they told me to take off my hids and led bulbs and to remove the "aftermarket" alarm that the dealer installed. The "upgraded" alarm I paid extra for which is just a shock sensor I believe...

I'll keep you guys posted...

Experienced this issue for the first time last night. Had been driving the car without incident about 8 miles (from where it had been sitting for an hour)...freeway driving and stoplight start/stop driving. No weather issues. Stopped at a stop light, when I went to accelerate, the car responded initially and then "hiccuped" multiple times. At that point all of the lights came on - FCW, LDW, Check Engine, Power Steering, ABS, and Tire Pressure monitoring system - it also had "FCW System Failure" scrolling in the main screen. I thought it was going to stall out, but it didn't. However, pressing on the gas did no good...it seemed to stay the same speed (about 10 mph). I pulled off the road and when I applied the brakes, it lurched a little and then stopped. After shutting the car down and restarting, the check engine, FCW, power steering and LDW lights all came on and stayed on. I opted to drive it to the Honda dealership (about 3 miles away)...it drove fine. No issues. They have it now. Waiting for the call.

Anyone have any luck getting their issues resolved?

(The car is a 2013 Accord EXL - no navigation - probably 10K miles?)

I have been having this same issue for the past few months. First time it happened I took the car straight to the dealer, the service guy turned the car off and the lights were gone when it was started again, tech said no codes came up and they could not figure it out. Next time was a few weeks later and the lights were gone by the time I got to the dealer, again no codes and no idea where it was coming from. They wanted to keep my car for up to two weeks so they could drive it until it happened again yet they would not give me a rental. They ended up giving me the car back and telling me to come back if it happened again. In the past month it has happened 5 diff times and each time I recorded the dash with my phone and made sure to note the date, time and millage. Last week I took my car in and e-mailed all vids and they called Monday and said the front camera was bad and it would be replaced thurs (today). I got a call today stating that the camera was not the problem and that the cause was my HID headlights. They claim that the car had a code UO122 and that they unhooked my headlights, cleared the code and they didt get the fcw or ldw lights. only prob is its intermittent and the lights might not come on for a week, they would come on at all random times. I feel like the dealerships have no solution for this problem so they just throw some bogus diagnosis just to string us along...They also noted that I had HID (witch are actually LED) interior lights and that they might be causing the lights to come on aswell.... I have had this prob in the rain and dry conditions, day & night... There does not seem to be any pattern just random... btw I have a 2014 V6 manual coupe
