2018 sport 2.0. Driving to work today I got that the radar was obstructed but fine, it’s snowing and it’s iced over. Same thing on the way home, then it went green and was working. Ten minutes later, brake system light, collision mitigation problem, ACC problem warning, lane departure problem warning.
Cleaned radar. Nothing. Pulled battery cable. Nothing.
Hoping the dealer can get me in. Not thrilled.

Hi there,

I am assuming the lights and warnings didn't go away after you restarted the car? They usually go away after the car sits a while.

This happened to me as well when I parked my car on the side of my house and a snow plower came and shoveled the snow off the side walk and the excess snow on the side got all up on my cars stomach which tripped its sensors somehow, although they all went away the next morning..

Hey did you ever figure out the problem? I’m having the exact same Issue and I live in Chicago and of course it’s cold and a lot of snow I thought it was my front sensor from the salt or ice but didn’t fix it. I disconnected the battery and still didn’t work. The lights have gone off before but came back 10min later. It’s been like this for a couple weeks now very frustrating.

Im also in the same boat since I live in Toronto, will be going to dealership this week to check it.
Did you find the cause?
Also in Toronto here and get this problem every once in awhile. I took it the dealer a year and a bit ago and they just gave me the run around. I would be interested in hearing what they tell you. As others have said it's sometimes associated with a failing battery. Mine is original and I have a 2019 so I should probably get around to replacing it soon.

Reviving an old thread, but I just experienced this issue on my 2018 2.0T Touring. Car would crank fine, but immediately throw Brake System light, Adaptive Cruise Control warning, Collision Mitigation Braking System warning, and Lane Depature warning, sometimes accompanied by an alert that the front radar was obstructed.

Restarting the car did not fix the issue. Cleaning the front camera and radar did not fix the issue. Car had 102k miles, battery had a manufacture date of 02/19/2018, so just under 5 years old. Battery tested at around 12.0V, but after a 40 minute drive from work. Battery also cranked perfectly fine in 0F temps after sitting for multiple days.

Replacing the battery with Interstate Batteries P/N 1355770 [Group Size H6 (48) AGM] fixed the issue. Jury is out on whether disconnecting the OEM battery and resetting the safety systems did the trick or if I truly needed a new battery.

Will update this post if the error returns.

2018 Honda Accord EX.. maybe 2 years ago same problem the warning light accident mitigation systems keeps rotating between the different warning but then after I stopped and restarted the car the next day the warnings were gone. About 4 weeks ago came on and did not go away went into the dealership $500 to realign the camera with cones that they put out / lights? Yesterday afternoon on a perfectly smooth Highway no rain all the Warning Systems came on again did not clear when I stopped and restarted. I do not want to pay another $500 every time this happens. At work this morning ran into another 2018 Honda Accord owner he has the same problem he has been ignoring it and just drives his car without the systems. Which means no cruise control. Safety issues I think there should be a fix and a recall on this problem

Replace the battery and the problems should go away. My 2018 had the same errors happening. I replaced the battery and everything has worked as expected since. Even if the battery isn't the solution, it's due for replacement and it is one less thing to troubleshoot.

Hey thank you so much for the input, I will take care of that right away O FYI the 411It's not because I think I know-it-all, it was something that I could remember and differentiate me from the other Rick Adams That were already Gmail accounts. Otherwise you're just gonna assign me some arbitrary large number.

Hello All,

Picking up on this thread because I have the same System Problem messages, thanks in advance and sorry for long post. 2018 Touring 2.0T with 54k miles. Yesterday morning driving down the Highway using ACC, cruise stopped working and got this message 'Some Driver Assist Systems Cannot Operate: Radar Obstructed'. I pulled over a few miles down the road and sure enough the plastic Honda Sensing cover was not clipped onto the Radar unit. I didn't hear or feel anything but obviously something hit it hard enough to knock the cover loose, I doubt it just worked its way off over time. The Rader itself looked fine, intact, solid, so I just clipped the cover back on and all was well. Continued on with the day of 100+ miles highway driving with everything normal and using ACC. Then late afternoon the ACC stopped working again, this time I have three messages. 'ACC Adaptive Cruise Control System Problem', 'CMBS Collision Mitigation Braking System Problem', 'RDMS Road Departure Mitigation System Problem' all followed by See Your Dealer. Plus the BRAKE SYSTEM light is on under the speedometer. I took pics of all of the errors as they came on.

I spent some time searching here and elsewhere to rule some things out. I checked the brake fluid, it's clean and full. I checked the battery (15 months old) and with car off it is at 12.8V @ 820 CCA when load tested (good/pass). I pulled the battery terminals for 10 minutes and then reconnected. No check engine light, no codes to read from auto shop guy. The three System Problem scroll in the MID and BRAKE SYSTEM light stays on. They don't go away on a restart, they didn't clear with a (battery) reset, and ACC for sure doesn't work.

I have NOT checked the brake switch (assuming in footwell/dash area behind the brake pedal?), that I've read some have had the dealer replace. It's awkward down there and can be a back spasm creator but hey, I'll check it out if I know what I'm looking for. I'm out of warranty, of course, looking for some ideas before I make an appointment at local Honda dealer for their diagnosis. Besides the three things that don't work, the car drives fine and normal, no other symptoms.

Thank you!
Mister Mike

Quick update. Took to Honda dealer yesterday afternoon, Tech pulled code for misalignment of radar, cleared code and performed radar aiming procedure. $168 out the door in about an hour, so far so good, dash display is now problem free.
