After almost 7 years today I replaced my original Bridgestone Turanza 205 60R 16 tires on my 2007 Honda Accord EX coupe. I am the original car owner. They had 66,000 miles on them and plenty of tread left believe it or not. But dry rot cracking was setting in and I had to add air at least once a week to 2 tires to stay at factory specs. Time for replacement.

Looked around for sometime and decided on General Altimax RT 205 60R 16 92 T tires with a 70,000mi tread warranty. Price was close to $475 for all 4 tires. A family relative has been running this tire on there car and highly recommended them. I could of went high end for my tires, but honestly I only drive my garage kept 07 Accord EX coupe maybe 6,000mi a year. It sits on nice days in summer while I ride my HD Road King, and during winter months I break it out only on nice dry days due to I have 2012 Toyota Tacoma 4x4 for inclement weather. The Accord gives me an average of 30mpg which I like!

I'll keep you posted on tire performance. They're rated at 92 T which is 1389 pounds per wheel and 118mph speed rating. Original Bridgestone Turanza was 91 V which is 1356 pound per wheel and 149 mph. I never been above 90mph since I've owned car. So no brainer. I'll keep you posted on ride as I go forward. Thanks!
