A warning to all about to click those pictures, the uploader he used is really sketchy and will spawn a couple pop ups, one of which was for a porn site.

This just happened to me at work -_-

What's the hype about these vossens? Aren't they heavy wheels that are over priced? Just saying....

To OP: based on the pics, something is not right.

I called vossen who told me to contact the company i ordered it from so i did. The company i bought it from told me to take some pictures and said they would contact vossen. Not cool to receive a package like this when i paid quite a bit for these rims.

It seems vossen and the vendor are trying to blame each other. Don't let them screvv you. If you've paid with credit card, you can call them and complain IF vossen or the vendor don't honor their warranty.

I called vossen...
Wow.
If there's a problem with the finish it's Vossen's problem.
Considering what they charge for those rims, you would think they'd stand behind their product and not refer you back to the middle man.

it's my take that if the wheels failed structurally that it would be vossen's responsibility to rectify the problem, but cosmetic flaws should definitely be handled by the retailer. if the retailer accepted your money they also accepted responsibility for making you a satisfied customer. either way, i really hope it works out for the OP. these wheels are too expensive to get the screw job on.

Hey, sorry about the problem. Not sure why the wheel looks like that. But dont worry it will be replaced no questions asked. :)

Normally issues like this need to go through the authorized dealer you bought them from .

But email me directly and I will help speed the exchange process up. Send me pics, size and offset of the wheel, and also let me know who you purchased them from.

Thank

Alright will do!

How's that?
The retailer does not have the ability to fix a problem with the finish.
It's a QC issue and falls on the manufacturer.

Regardless, based on jav@vossen's above post, Vossen is taking care of the issue.

all mods are for show lol
i think anyone here that was really serious about performance, would opt for 3 series or g35/37's or something else other than honda
I didn't want anything else. Honda is a very modifiable make. I wanted this, and I want to improve it, and I have gotten impressive performance from it.

Now, that sounds like great customer service to me.

2000 for 20in wheels is far from over priced. Vossen has a pretty good name for themselves, having owned a set before I can vouch for the quality. Heavy? They are 20's what do you expect? They aren't any more heavy then the typical 20's .. you want heavy, look at the weight of any chrome wheel.

Not to mention Vossen's customer service is pretty awesome.

This generation is not all that modifiable performance wise with the exception of the basic bolt ons, maybe in a few more years they'll have more parts available, but it's far from what other makes have to offer.

As for the pictures go, they look matte silver to me, the lighting makes them look off or something.
