First post. Loved the car so much we now have two. The touring is getting harder to find, so I got a white one too.
How long have you had them? I ask this because i have quite a few friends who has the same car and they wished they never purchased it, a couple was able to return it to the dealership, there are so many different issues with the touring, from blown head gasket to the car just shutting down while on the freeway, etc…, it’s been mentioned several times on this forum and many other honda forums.

Four months and the other four days.

Why would the Touring trim be any different than the other 3 Hybrid trim levels?

I have had my Touring for 11 months now, and 6,000 miles. I have had zero problems with it. The fuel economy is the best I have ever experienced with any car I have ever owned. My best is close to 51 MPG calculated.

I am highly skeptical of the reports of cars shutting down on the freeway, and especially blown head gaskets. I have several friends with 23 and 24 Honda Hybrids. All of them love the cars. I also make it a point, when I see another 11th generation Hybrid , to ask the owners what they think of the car. The comments I get have been overwhelmingly positive about their experience with the car.

In my younger years, I would trust most people UNLESS they gave me a reason NOT to trust them. These days, UNLESS I know someone personally, I don't trust them, or I have limited trust of them. Online, it's even worse. It seems some people will lie like they breathe the air, and you never know whether they are posting with some agenda in mind. It is pretty sad, but it is the world we live in.

I wonder who the actual people are who continually WHINGE about the Accord - talk about preferring a camry or their Acura MDX ? There is an Ignore button on the website to help out.

My experience with Honda vehicles is " Steller" and I am very happy with the value that they provide.

Congrats on your purchases and I hope you enjoy them for many years to come.

PS - How do you tell them apart ( other than using the kepfob) ?

Thanks as always for your excellent observation Larry . Too many " trolls" in forums come to trash cars instead of being objective. Toyota must pay their employees extra to troll Honda sites.

Some aren't even trolls, just morons.
A lady on the Bronco forums placed a complaint about soy based wiring at NHTSA because rodents ate her wiring.
She wanted others to file complaints to get a recall initiated.

I had a rodent of some kind chew up an engine wiring harness... in 1994. It must have been one of the Rats of Nimh that traveled back in time in a soy based time machine to install those delicious wires and then chew on them, because the use of soy based insulation started a decade after that.

Rodents have been nesting under car hoods since there have been cars, and chewing on things because that's what they do. That soy wire story just won't die.

Husband and wife?
Maybe, but why in the same color? My wife always picks something in a different color than me. But we never had similar cars.
Also, there was a couple living near our place, and they had two SUVs, black and white. Also, they had those cute stickers 'Love him' and 'Love her'

Read the tread, he said they are hard to find in his area, so they had to get white.

I know it was a pain to find a blue one, we got lucky and put a deposit on one that was in transit. It seems white was the most abundant in inventory here.
