Hi guys,

I am going to do a morimoto mini h1 retrofit to my sedan and I was wondering fi anyone has a write-up on how to remove the headlights from the sedan. I searched, but I couldn't find any. I know how to remove the bumper, but I am lost from there. I will be glad to post pics and my experience during this retrofit project.

You basically remove the bumper the normal way. On each side of the car I think there are three bolts that hold the headlight housings. Two along the bottom where the bumper clips on and one should be on top of the engine bay.

I'm sure you can find it once you take off your bumper, it's not really hard.

+1, once you take off the bumper, it's very obvious which bolts the headlights are attached to the rest of the chasis

pay your attention to 3 bolts 10 metric (red circles)
unscrew and slide headlights out. when remove bottom bracket from the headlight (additional 2 10 metric bolts on the bottom)

unscrew witha 6 edge screw driver and it should be loose enough for u to take the head lights out from the back

Thanks dobolonsky for the help. I've removed my bumper a few times but never wanted to try the headlights because I didn't know what was involved.
