Hi,

I am having a heat issue with my 1995 Accord wagon 2.2 L, the heat is luke warm and doesn't even defrost the wind shield. I have checked the valve on the top heater core hose and it is fully open, but still next to no heat. (it has been in the -50's up here in Northern Ontario lately).

Is there any way I can flush the heater core (DIY) with out much coolant loss. I've heard of using compressed air to dislodge any debris then using CLR and water.

Any tips,

Thanks a bunch.

You can drain your coolant into a container and save it, then flush, then replace it. Otherwise you will lose what's in there.
