Heated Mirrors

I bought my kids a 2015 Honda Civic LX and a 2014 Honda Accord LX. Never had a Honda before and while my Dodge POS is in the shop, I’m driving my daughters Accord. I recently noticed that the mirrors are not heated and this is annoying. I know I could manually defrost them every time, but I would like to know if there was a way to buy heated mirrors and have them connected to the rear defrost switch. I know I could add aftermarket and run them to a different switch, but I really don’t want to. I guess my question is is the wiring on the EX and LX the same? Can I add heated mirrors and possibly a fuse to get them to work, or is it not possible? Thanks.

It is possible, the wiring color scheme and pinout may be different though. Back in the day I added factory heated mirror to my 2001 galant and extra wiring for the heating elements, ran those to a separate switch and of course added a fuse for safety. I wired it up so that it was only on whenever ignition key was at least in on position, meaning vehicle running most of the time, as I rarely used the on position except maybe for rolling down or up a window.
