Hi all,

need some help here with this, when I start up the car especially in the morning the ABS light that had gone off at position II would light up momentarily when I crank the engine to start.

I was thinking whether it was due to a weak battery since it hardly happens at any other time of the day.

Also when it does happen, cranking the engine appears to take like a fraction of a sec longer than usual.

Apart this there's no other issue with it.

Does the ABS light stay on after the engine starts? If it stays off then I wouldn't worry about it.

Now if you are still on the original battery from the factory, then you are definitely due for a new battery!

Sounds normal. When you crank the car the ABS is doing a self test at the same time. As long as the light is not on once the engine is running, you are fine.

My ABS light is on and off. I had it scanned, appears to be two wheel speed sensors. Haven't had a chance to do the job yet.
