Hi all, we lost control of our 2021 Accord last week on a freeway and hit the the barriers. What’s weird is that our car started to swerve left and right a few times before the accident. It happened all of a sudden while we were driving straight around 1pm at about 70mph without hitting any bumps. Really don’t understand what happened. Now the front left wheel got tucked up into the fender and the lower control arm snapped. We only had adaptive cruise control on but not lane assist, and we didn’t over correct the steering wheel when the car started swerving because we knew over correction can cause the car to go sideways or even flip over. Can anyone share some ideas on what might have happened? I remember the dashboard was flashing some red things while swerving: something like hi…lock… luckily no one got injured and we didn’t hit other cars… Honda dealer basically denied that there could be any defective parts. Also, the lower control arm snapped in two locations: one of them completely broken, the other with a small crack. The rear left wheel is now also a bit warped. Thanks!

There is data in the SRS/ABS controllers that will show all sensors and inputs from the driver. You are the owner of that data and can pay to have a complete forensics of the data.
