[14 Accord]

Will the spare for an gas 13/14 Accord ((( Wheel Disk (15x4T) (CMWA) Honda part number 42700-T2A-A52 and Tire T125/80D16) (KENDA) Honda part number 42751-KEN-006 ))) fit and can be used on a 14 Hybrid Accord ?

Also looking for a phone number to Honda Technical Support that can assist with this question.

Just can not drive a car with out a spare tire.

I have had my Accord for two weeks, getting 44 MPG with mixed driving and very happy with this automobile.

I also have a 2014 touring hybrid.
Got a space saver spare from a 2013 accord from an online junkyard.
Also found a jack and lug wrench.
Fits fine.

Doubtful that a bag of Groceries, or small home furnishing would penetrate the battery case. But a small spare tire with a metal rim weighing 20 to 30 pounds probably could. Also there is the Jack to carry along too.

I think they are worried about items being "crushed" into the battery pack.

Like I said, FWIW.

Did anyone see that stolen Tesla that wrecked at high speed? It sent the battery all over the street into 10 to 20 pieces all on fire. Of course that guy was traveling at over 100mph and hit other cars I get that. But if the battery is compromised in a crash and a spark sets it off it probably produces the same result. Raging inferno.
