This topic is the question about headlight. Should we have HID, which is a traditional modification for car, or LED.

as you all know about HID, so I dont have to say much about it. But, LED is a new kind of light ( on car, of course). That LED has been installed in Cadillac Escalade and its performance just awesome. One of my friend just purchased a 2011 Mer C300 and installed the LED lights and it was also awesome.

HID is a traditional modification, they indeed work good and give a fine performance. But they make us to spend more gas and headlight cover will be burned and easy to get faded.
LED is a new kind. Although they use less energy but with high technology they have a better performance. LED doesn't produce too much heat as well. Of course, with those advantages they cost more, somehow double than normal HID.

My questions:

- Which one is better, HID or LED?
- Are they fit with Honda Accord?
- If they fit, will it damage or have some not good influences to the car?
- LED is super bright. The lowbeam with LED is bright like highbeam and that will blind people in front of u. Is that legal or not?

Last coupe days I posted a topic with some questions about headlight as well. Now some more, because I have some projects about them, not only my car but also my cousin's cars (4 totally).

Thank you for your time.

I am not a specialist so my explanation will not be professional and clear. It maybe wrong as well. If something wrong please correct me.
The electrical stuffs in our car work base on the energy burned from cylinders. Firstly they work based on the energy from the battery but then when we run the cylinders work and produce energy not only used for engine but also used as electricity.
HID requires three components: a bulb, an igniter and a ballast. Instead of a filament, HID is a xenon gas filled bulb with 2 electrodes.
