Has anyone had an issue of weird noise coming in from their hybrid Accord 2024. This noise is from engine bay and dealership is saying it’s normal for all hybrid accord.
The noise started coming in after I clocked in 5500 miles and which means it’s normal or else it would have been coming from very first day.

Here’s the link

Did it get colder outside when this started?

Does it make the noise all the time, or just on startup?

Is the oil level ok?

What noise are you believing to be new and not there before? The clicking? It sounds like the injectors might be a little loud - but it's not a rare sound for DI engines.
if that’s something normal it should have been from the very first day. You can differentiate the clicking noise and the engine noise.

If you record an engine with the hood up, holding the microphone close to that engine, it will sound like that with any engine I would think. As mentioned, fuel injectors are not silent, neither are the valves, that close to the engine. What does it sound like from outside the car with the hood closed, or inside the car with the windows up? Honda engines, have a unique sound to them.

I can barely hear my engine from inside the car while driving around at low speeds. (when the engine is running)

So I can hear that weird noise inside the car too. And it is definitely a different noise than the engine noise per say

How many months have you owned the vehicle? I ask because of low miles for a 24MY . Short trips ? Your oil may be oil diluted and lost its ability to do what oil does .
I got it in may 2024 and right now it has 7500 miles on it. I have used it for long trips as well for over 500 miles in a single day. The oil still says 40% on display

Then you need to bring it to the dealer and follow up. Please let us know what they say.

Well I would have the oil changed , forget that maintenance minder baloney. Factory oil that has all the break in material circulating for 9 months . Oil filters catch larger particles small ones go right through the filter . The OEM filter isn't the best around either . It's a rebadged low end Fram that's it .

Dealership and Honda is saying it’s the high pressure fuel pump which makes that clicking noise and it’s normal and you will have it on all cars.
Has anyone ever noticed such noise on their Honda accord hybrid 2024 ?

When I started my car today it was -3 f . Silent outside engine bay and inside the car . But I did first oil change at 400 miles and second at 900 miles . 3,000 OCI from here on .
Cut open the first oil filter , many flakes in the pleats . I then put on a good oil filter , second oil change I cut the filter again and less metal but decent amount .
Engines have a break in period, it's beneficial to get those particles out of the engine .
To each their own , run your oil out to 0% on the maintenance minder and wonder why it doesn't sound like it did when new.

Pretty sure this guy's sound isn't due to an overload of metal flakes

3,000 oci going forward? Wow did you work in the past in corporate marketing at Jiffy Lube?
