My 2013 accord was just due its first oil change. I have always done my own oil changes on my honda's as I enjoy doing it and ensure it is done correctly. Dealer had special for $29.95 Honda Synthetic and Honda Oil filter. Since I bought the car from this dealer they also did free tire rotation and washed the car.

Looks like I am out of the oil change business for a while. I cant buy the supplies for this cheap of a rate:)

i don't expect that "special" to last. they will have to start asking you to do services that aren't needed here pretty soon.... :deal:

Yes you can. You just have to know where to look. A few deals available now. Stock up while you can.

Pennzoil Platinum: approx $22 for 5 qt jug at Walmart - $10 rebate + a $5-$6 oil filter = $17-$18 oil change

Pennzoil Ultra: $12 for 5 qt jug at Walmart + a $5-$6 oil filter = $17-$18 oil change

Quaker State Ultimate Durability: $21 for 5 qt jug at Walmart - $20 rebate + a $5-$6 oil filter = $6-$7 oil change.

There have also been a few Valvoline deals posted by Dan.

* $5-$6 oil filter can be OEM Honda, Purolator PureONE, Fram Tough Guard, K&N, Bosch,....
