Not sure how many others here use, or are familiar with the Honda Owners link to record all service and maintenance performed on your cars by the dealer or other location , such as home, or a private shop. I have a 2013 Accord EX-L which I've kept very detailed service records of for the past 9 years, every oil change I've done, type of oil used, P/N for Honda filter and drain washer, air filter changes, coolant changes, brake service with fluid...everything! One of the reasons I do this is to increase the trade-in or resale value of the car when it comes time to sell. The next buyer looks at the detailed records and buys the car, period, no price haggling, they are very confident the car was well maintained.

On 1/30/23 I was trying to make a entry to my service records and found they were all deleted by Honda when they made a change to the website. Not just my service records, everyones service records! I called another Honda Accord owner, who's car I've done many oil changes on, to check and see if her records were gone and they were.

Called Honda 1-800-999-1009 to ask about where all the service records went and was told that "Honda is aware of the problem, trying to recover the lost data, and they understand the impact it has on owners". I really doubt they do. Nevertheless I was assigned a case # by the woman I spoke with and to use that number for follow up calls.

I would urge anyone that uses the Honda Owners Site to record service done on your car, either at home or a independent garage, to contact Honda at the 1-800-999-1009 number, make a complaint about service records being lost/deleted and request a case #, don't end the call without a case#.

Detailed service and maintenance records have a big effect on the resale value of your Honda. Let them know your very disappointed and demand they work to recover the lost records.

I did hear about this. I never used the site for anything outside of curiosity, checking dealership maintenance history for my vehicles.

I keep scanned copies of invoices/estimates/receipts I get when work is done on my vehicles, so I have a pretty good record built up.

Rely on your own: use an Excel file at home and be sure to have back ups in case your computer goes bad.

Better than rely on anyone else.

Regardless, what happened is kind of sad.

I agree. Although I've been using the Honda Owners site about 20 years now for this and previous Honda's I've owned. It worked out very good because any service or recalls done by the Honda dealership that were entered by the dealer were in the same spot, and who would have thought Honda would just delete them without notice. Toyota has a similar owners site that allows you to enter service records. Keeping fingers crossed they will recover but doubt they will.

Agreed. This is why I keep paper receipts in a folder that the buyer can have if they so choose.

What a joke this is. As near as I can remember the site worked fine. Now Honda has to go and mess with it. Generally no good can come of doing something like that. If it aint broke don't fix it.

I had the same issue (4 Honda's from 2000-2018). Honda seems to have restored these records over the last week - I saw another person posting they had and can confirm my records were restored as well.

I just went to look for my records and found that most of them are missing. I have a 2000 Honda Civic Si which I have kept detailed records on since it was new. I can only find a few dealer records since 2017. This is totally unacceptable. I am at a loss of words. 20 years worth of records are gone.

FYI, the Honda Owner's site is now at mygarage.honda.com. I just looked at mine (I added it shortly after I bought it in February) and all maintenance and sales stuff performed by a Honda dealer (two, in my case) do show up, complete with repair order numbers and part numbers (if any). I don't bother entering my info there (I keep it on the computer here), but maybe I'll start.

I completely agree with your assessment of "Unveiling the Depths of Creativity.
"The exhibition's diverse range of artworks and boundary-pushing nature truly left a
profound impact on me as well. It's an experience that I highly recommend to anyone who
appreciates art and its transformative power.

Did anyone get theirs back? They lost it all for my 2012 Accord but I can still see it for my 2015 Honda Crosstour
