At the very least they've changed the app icon from Acura to Honda. Hopefully they have fixed the audio dropouts. Text Font Line Logo Banner

i just noticed this too. I had my apps on auto-update bc i keep forgetting to update all the time.

I wish I could find more use to this Honda link app. Looks like not much has changed.

What do you guys use this app for? I'd like to try some of your fav presets or just input on anyone's opinion of how they use it on a daily basis
same here looks the same to me
I just installed the update on my iPhone 5 tonight. I will use the HondaLink tomorrow to see if anything has changed.
where do you guy go to update hondalink?
Didnt ask to allow connection

For the 1st time, when I connected phone and selected Pandadora, it didnt ask to "allow" on the iPhone. Hope this wasn't a fluke!

How did you do this? Is there a link to the update?

I'm dying to try it on my iPhone.

Update the HondaLink app on your iPhone like you do any other app. Go to the App Store and then tap the Updates tab. Then update the app. This is not an update to the audio system in the car.
I'm sorry but what's so great about the HondaLink aha radio. I've never really said I'd rather use that than any other music app on my phone that's streaming over bluetooth. Is there any benefit of using that over Spotify, Pandora, Slacker, iTunes Radio?

What they need to focus on is updating the damn firmware, so it doesn't freeze up every now and then. I feel like the system is running on a Pentium II processor. It takes ages to load up, and sometimes everything doesn't load, like the labels for XM radio presets, half will have them and the other will just say the channel number. Anyone know how to reboot the whole system without having to restart the engine. I can't even imagine going on a roadtrip, and pulling over to restart the car just to fix the radio.

Thanks. Apparently I have my phone set to update Apps automatically because when I went there it had already been done.

And then, 2 hours later...

There's no difference on mine, I still have to touch 'Allow' on my phone most of the time. :thumbsdow
