After removing piece below and reattaching it my hood won't completely latch closed. Need some suggestions.

make sure you put the plastic slots in all correct spots. use the picture as a reference. those things can be tricky

Hmm... Make sure the clips are sitting flush and does not stick up. Or you could take the clips out again, give them a clean if they are dirty. Mine were a bit dirty and didn't fit in properly, so I washed them and they fit like new.

**Make sure that the handle/lever is on top of the plastic trim... and not under it. The lever must be "threaded" through the hole.

If it still doesn't work, try slamming the hood down a bit harder than usual. Good luck.

Make sure the front lip of that plastic piece slides UNDER the top of the front grille mylar / faux-chrome. I made that mistake a while ago...you have to install the piece with the front pointing at a downwards angle. Also check to make sure the 2 rubber things closest to the latch are screwed down all the way (turn clockwise).

I would also help if you would take a pic of your car so we can see if something is off. I'm assuming the pic you provided is from someone else's tutorial.
