2020 Sport 2.0 purchased lare February 2020. 10,500 miles. I used to put 15K miles per year on my cars. Bought 1 week before Covid lockdown. Work from home since. Oil changed twice and minder just lit up for another oil change.

After 8 months I have around 9,200 miles on my '22 HAH EX-L. In June I got a take home car from work so the miles haven't been piling up on the Accord so much lately. It'll be a stretch to put 12k on it this year.

Stupid head gasket blown, turbine blades bent, and all cylinders need a ring job at 85,000 miles. I get this from only bolt-ons and a Phearable Stage 3 tune. These guys with big turbos and nitrous and methanol injection have less problems. That is trash indeed!

What is the highest mileage anyone has or has seen on a 2.0T?

Coming from a 2017 EX-L V6 that I drove 178,000 miles with no problems, I am just not getting the vibe that this car is going to hold up as long to my daily commute. I keep reading horror stories of blown head gaskets, stretched timing chains, failed timing chain tensioners, etc., and it really has me questioning whether I made a smart move considering how much I drive.

I'll note that I baby my cars. All service is performed on time, according to the maintenance minder, and only at Honda dealers. I do not drive them hard. I commute approximately 80 miles one way. At least 60 of those miles are interstate. I'm currently sharing the love of the commute with my 2021 Passport to avoid adding so many miles to the Accord, but I'm still thinking this car might need to be gone before the 60,000-mile powertrain warranty is gone. I'm new to turbos and chose this over a Camry V6. I avoided the 1.5T because I prefer to have power for acceleration when I need it. I avoided the Camry 2.5L I4 for the same reason. I mainly went with the Accord because of brand loyalty and the fact that there was actually one on the lot versus having to place an order for a Toyota.

I don't think this is the highest, but this is what I have. Factory front brakes finally are needing to be changed soon. I perform maintenance as needed. I've got a few things to take care of this week before a big trip. :-)

This week turned 35,000 miles on my 2018 Touring 2.0t. No issues requiring trips to the dealer, other than routine service under warranty period and the fuel pump recall/replacement. After 3 years I stopped going to the dealer and now use a local mechanic for routine stuff.

You are way to paranoid and never should have bought a car with a turbo then. That being said, drive it and let it go the distance. It will! Stop worrying and enjoy this awesome vehicle. The only thing I expect to replace is the turbo down the line. They do wear down as the miles and years go by. You don’t have the problematic 1.5t. The 2.0t is built much better. Go on YouTube and there is an excellent tear down between both engines. Take care of the car and it will take care of you! Currently have 22k miles on our 21 2.0t Touring with no issues. Bought in December 2020 brand new.

I think I've posted more of my experiences higher up in the thread. There's been a few issues with 10-speed AT transmission noise but it's been going on for nearly 2 years and there's nothing surprising in the drained fluid.
Congrats! This (228k) is definitely the highest mileage of 10G (any trim) that I’ve seen so far. What’s the transmission noise you’re speaking of if you don’t mind to share? Have you had any turbo related issue at all?

Some of my initial transmission stuff was mentioned here:

I think it's gotten a little better over time, and with more AT Fluid changes. I'm doing another scheduled ATF 2.0 change this week when the temp gets a bit warmer. It's not a complicated process, but you have to take the bottom plate off, etc.
The transmission began making noise in Sport mode while decelerating on twisty mountain roads. I probably noticed it in the 130,000 to 150,000 mile timeframe. It's a slight transmission "growling"/"bearing pressure" sound. (Likely worn gears)
One day, closer to 170,000 miles, I was leaving Denver and headed South which had me around Larkspur where you are climbing in elevation for a while. I pulled off of the highway after being in traffic and slower 30 MPH driving for about an hour and the transmission jerked real hard with a loud thump. I think it got too hot and the friction plates were stuck. The slow changing from Park to Reverse has happened to varying degrees ever since. Again, no appreciable metal in the fluid or anything. It took a few days for the transmission to feel a little less unhappy but we made it home to NC just fine. I changed ATF2.0 a few days later and now it's almost normal except for the slow shift to reverse. (I wonder if something is out of place in the valve body)
Nothing else has really changed with it since. There's definitely some wear in there at this point. I never shy away from Sport mode and spirited driving in the mountains though and it makes a little more noise now. I still need to locate a low-mileage AT to rebuild.

I didn't change spark plugs until around 190,000 and they were just starting to seem worn out. I've used 3 bottles of Gumout Regane High Mileage Fuel System Cleaner for a few weeks which "felt" like it helped a little. I might use more soon.

I have not had any issues at all with the turbo. I keep up with my oil and filter changes so the bearing should be doing okay. I use Pennzoil Ultra-Platinum 0w20 (rated really well by Project Farm as I recall) and a Purolator PL-14610 Oil filter. (I change the filter every time even though the maintenance schedule says you don't have to)

I'm not really concerned about a specific failure at this point. I suspect it will continue to wear out at a steady rate and I will have to put some money into it to keep it going. It's paid off now though. :)

I wish the 2023's had a 2.0 10-speed option!!! I prefer the new taillights.

Thanks for the detailed and informative reply. I’m certainly glad to hear your report of non issue with your turbo given your relative high mileage on the car. That is certainly encouraging. It seems like the 10AT doesn’t like the high elevation and low speed combo too much lol. It sounds like there was an issue, yet not that serious either if you were able to make it from Denver to NC afterwards. It sounds like you’re doing nothing wrong with maintenance either. It’s mysterious why it acts that way…. Have you taken it to a dealer for diagnosis of the issue? Or did you not really bother since you were out of warranty already? Personally, I’d get a formal diagnosis from at least one place I trust before rebuilding it.

As far as 11th Gen, I prefer the rear taillights on the new one too, just not much else about the exterior. It’s just a bit too generic looking. The interior is very nice though, and the infotainment and Bose are a significant upgrade over our 10th gen. Too bad Honda didn’t care to carryover the 2.0t/10AT either. Hope that changes by MMC…

I haven't. I was a mechanic back in the 80s and never let others work on my vehicles unless I absolutely have to for work that I don't have the equipment for. I would be willing to take the transmission itself to a shop for them to look at, but I'm not interested in having a shop remove it from the vehicle to then diagnose. Here's an interesting video on what's in those transmissions:
