I'm looking at a 2007 EX to replace my 2006 that was totaled in an accident in September. The 2007 has the navigation system in which is different from just the basic stereo/xm radio in my 2006. Also, I am assuming the only way to control the ac fan speed is through the touch screen that is also with the navigation system? This is my concern is how long these touch screens last on the cars and would I be better off getting a car with the same a/c and radio controls as my 2006? What is the ENT knob for as well?

Also, what is the difference between EX and EX-L?

Thanks.

The nav system is very reliable. the enter knob allows you to scroll across the map to a desired location if you do not know an address and it also allows you to push it in on points of interest to lookup wayward points of travel. as for the hvac system there are buttons to control that automatically below the nav screen but for manual settings of where the air blows and manual fan control there is a button to the right of the screen that says ac. press this button and then you have manual control of heat and ac on the screen. best of both worlds.

heated seats and a power passenger seat are also in the sedan

So pretty low maintenance on the computer and touch screen? That was my biggest concern since I have never had car with that before.

If you purchase the '07 with nav, make sure the dealer throws in the newest navigation DVD. They are kinda pricey.
I agree. Last year I purchased an update disc from Honda/navteq. depending on the time of year you buy the price varies. Cost for me was $170 with tax and shipping. There are other routes to buy these but I wanted to be sure what I bought would work.
