I need to replace the front wheel bearing and maybe the hub on my 2012 SE Accord. I would like to know where are all of you buying your parts from. I was going to buy a kit from 1A Auto after doing some research several customers stated that the bear lasted 1 year at best. So in short I'm stuck paying for OEM Honda parts also I cam across Timken which had good reviews for the bearing. Basically I need ideas for a good bearing as well as hub.

Timken is a good brand. I have honestly put in dirty cheap $30 bearings before on my MDX that we used to tow hot tubs and beat it to death. Never had a problem.

The bigger worry is who an how is it being installed. Often when installing the bearing it gets slightly damaged and you don't know until many many miles later. Its should be pressed in and not tapped/hammered in. Not the easiest job for sure.

Timken makes a good bearing, there is no reason to replace the hub unless the bearing is so bad and destroyed the hub. If you are doing it yourself you need the proper tools. A slide hammer, bearing puller kit, big pair of snap ring pliers. You can get all the tools at your big box parts store (loaners). If you take your time you can do it yourself. I just replaced both front wheel bearings on my Daughter's 2011 Honda Civic and I used Timken bearings.
