Hybrid emblem removal - NFPA Emergency Response Guides

I’ve seen this discussed here in the 11th Gen forum as well as in forums for other make/models.

We all know that it’s logistically possible, as on Honda’s it’s just a simple adhesive. Some of us feel it’s aesthetically more appealing if our cars are emblem free.

But should owners remove the “Hybrid” emblem off their vehicles?

Does anyone have any first hand experiences or knowledge of the topic?

There’s clearly multiple hybrid identification methods that are available for emergency responders. Here’s guidance from the National Fire Protection Association and their Emergency Response Guides for Honda vehicles, both hybrid and non hybrid.

I’ve reached out to my local fire services, but haven’t received any definitive responses, yet.

Thanks

If you don’t like it, just take it off- I am planning to debadge.
I removed them already. I was curious if anyone has any first hand experiences or knowledge/insight.

Thanks
I found an interesting article that not having it could pose a safety risk to first responders. At this point I would just assume most newer cars are hybrid though

I took all my lettering off the back. I think it looks a lot cleaner.
Unfortunately I had lined my flag up with the “accord” so when I removed that my flag looks dumb, but I’ll remedy that when I get some more tape

It's funny to read this. I had a 21 Toyota Venza Hybrid AWD. The 22 model Toyota deleted the AWD and HYBRID badges and everyone on that forum were upset and bitching about it.

I like the guys (and gals) who have brodozers (big lifted trucks) and put Hybrid badges on their tail gates. I had a Titan once and considered doing it. Luckily, I was able to restrain myself and not be that silly. lol!
