What do you guys pay for insurance per 6 months? I was just quoted $340 for full coverage from GEICO. I've been with GEICO for the past 8 years so not sure if they are ripping me off or not....

Kind of hard to ask people online, when everyone insurance policies all depends on driver's record and location.

This is a humble brag, but I'll play.

The best Gieco could do was about 700 but that was after two auto theft claims in 3 months. USAA got me for 570.

Jeeeez, do you guys have full insurance or only liability?
Saying you pay $xxx per month doesn't mean much if people don't also state
  • bodily injury coverage
  • property damage coverage
  • deductible amount
  • if coverage includes roadside service or not
  • if coverage includes car rental or not and how much for how long
  • if coverage includes towing or not
  • if coverage includes glass damage and what, if any, the deductible is
  • trim of Accord
  • your age
  • number of years you've been driving
  • etc.

For instance, someone could have bodily injury coverage that's $50K/$100K while someone else could have $100K/$300K

We're paying about $600/6 mo for three late model vehicles, two cars and a truck. $500K combined liability/property damage and $1K deductible comp/collision and uninsured motorist. It's discounted with Homeowners and $2M Umbrella liability on the same account. We're ticket free but have had two claims in the past couple of years...major hail damage to my truck in 2012 and a NAF accident....red light runner major t-boned wife's car in 2011. SE Denver metro. Travellers.

'13 Accord, '11 Fusion, home

We both have good records, 35 & 32, domestic partner discount, State Farm.

100/300 coverage per person/accident, $100 property damage
$0 comp/$500 collusion on the Accord
$50 comp/$500 collision on the Ford
Both low miles discount less than 7500/yr.

$142 per month for both cars. Mortgage co. pays the home insurance.

274 every 6. 250 deductible and maxed everything. Towing, trip interruption and anything else you would want. Since I am financing a percent of the cars price, jumping all over .9% I need to have what Honda says I need but I exceeded those requirements myself.

57 years old and pretty good driving record. Living in PA

It's all about where you live....

This type thread can be almost as misleading as an oil discussion thread. If you live in a major crime center, you're gonna pay more. It's all geographics with a little ripoff factor for some companies, but much more about your location.

I'm paying $210/6 mos ($420/year). Like real estate... Location, location, location. 3 vehicles covered (pricing shown for 13 Accord EX CVT only), all clean records w/o accdents or tickets.
