it's not illegal, though i read here one time that it would not be a good idea to run DRL's at night even though at 50% it's still bright enough to blind people...??? because i wanted to do this also

i also have yellow DRL's, but i believe OP is wondering if they can drive with them on or a way to have them lit at night with the low beams...but on our cars they turn off once you turn your low beams on..
