Had a chance to take my car for a road trip for the first time since I had it. Noticed a few things but one thing that was quite apparent was that the cruise control seems to be very aggressive / literal. Here is what I mean:
Say you are set to 75 MPH and cruising around. Then you come to an area of lower speed (60 MPH) so you brake, CC disengages and then after passing the slower area, you tap RESUME.
I find that the car will really rev up to make sure that you get to that desired 75 MPH as soon as possible. Like the RPMs go up to about 4.5K, seems like whatever it takes, must obey the command immediately!
There is also basically no tolerance for speed variation, let's say you are climbing a small hill, the car will go out of its way to keep the speed steady without even 1-2 MPH variance.
I don't recall my 7th gen being this... literal about the whole CC thing?
