I think it's leaking at the little Phillip screw on the linkage cable onto the engine mount. Does anyone know if this is common or how much to fix it?

My car is an 03 v6

It looks like your water valve is leaking; luckily, it's a cheap part. It will be best to get new hoses at the same time, since those hoses have been on there for 10+ years. You'll most likely have to cut them off.

Also, whenever I remove those single-use clamps, I replace them with stainless steel hose clamps. I've had the original clamps leak on me when I reused them.

The thing with the steel cable attached is the heater control valve, which can leak.

If you do decide not to change the water hose, then get this hose pick from Harbor Freight http://www.harborfreight.com/8-inch-radiator-hose-pick-96572.html on sale for $2, I used one this summer on my other car but paid close to $7 from Amazon :headbash:, but it does make removing and reusing the hose so much easier without destroying the hose.
