Hello all I have a 2016 Accord Sport 6MT (i4 2.4L) with 125,000 miles, I just stumbled on the Honed Developments clutch delay valve delete. This part goes on the master cylinder on the accord. Now I am confused because all of the forums that I have seen on here about deleting the clutch delay valve is inside the clutch slave cylinder. I was looking at the part numbers inside the accord diagrams and saw that the valve inside that everyone has been removing is called a "Screw, Bleeder", so now I am not sure what to do. I guess the master cylinder also has a delay valve and the slave cylinder does too. My question is should I remove both?

Should I really do this mod on my daily driver? Even if I drive spiritedly and shift fast most of the time, and do a couple of burnout launches a week? I just started driving manual about a month ago, I got used to it a lot so far. Since this is my first manual I am scared if I do the clutch delay delete that I will bring some "bad" habits with it (not sure if it's bad or not). One example is when I rev match or downshift at the incorrect rpm (maybe I undershot 500 to 1000rpm), the current setup with the delay valve still in I just lift the clutch to the bite point and keep it there until the clutch rev matches for me. Other things like hill starts and more. I am just worried that maybe I will need to relearn everything I knew about how to use the clutch. There are still sometimes where I can be smoother with my shifting, definitely not done learning and being even more smooth. Not sure if I should wait till, I get more comfortable, or just do it now

You can use the same thread to ask multiple questions, but since you asked here, no, there is no delay in the master cylinder - just the slave. And no, you won’t have to relearn anything. If anything, you’ll ask what most of us do after you remove it, and that’s why the hell is there one in there in the first place??

yea sorry, I could have used the same thread, but we are here now. I was looking into the K-tuned K-series slave cylinder to replace the slave cylinder in my car, since I don't want to mod it myself and risk potentially damaging the slave cylinder.

And thats crazy that they are selling it. What is it for then? Is it just a piece of metal that they sell to people and it gives them the placebo effect?
