The reverse light on the 11 is on the bottom and the 08/09/11 is on top.

Anyone else find that the 08/09/10 looks much better with the tail light concaving on top? Maybe it's just me not liking the smiling look on cars.

Does anyone know if the 08/09/10 tail light fits the 11+?

Yes, the 08-10 taillights will fit the 11-12 coupes. Has been done and noted before.

What I really like about the 08-10 taillights compared to the 11-12 is the outer lens is actually curved and goes with the curve of the coupe's rear while the 11-12 has edges that stick out for no reason, losing the smooth curves.

I'm sure if the lens was smooth on the 11-12, then the reverse lights on the bottom would've been okay.

I totally agree. If the 11 tailight is not curved like the way it is now, it would have looked so much better. Wen I first saw it, I liked it and I thought that Honda successfully refreshed the car. But then I went to the side and the curve showed and it was just odd.

yea, it's really bothering me the more i look at it. doesn't look very sporty from the back. looks like a neon or something.

thinking about getting those led striped... but $250 for cosmetics that have no purpose.

I saw an 11 coupe a few days ago and didn't like the rear lights. They randomly seem to stick out while the 8gen accords seem to flow with the rest of the body.

The 08-10 is curved across the surface of the lens, flowing with the curves of the coupe's rear quarter panel and trunk line. Makes a lot more sense to me, design wise.

And I'm saying this based on seeing a 2010 coupe sitting next to a 2011 coupe at the dealership.

I think the 08-10 lights are generally better looking, but I think the 11-12 tail lights look fine on the San Marino Red coupes (what I have) for some reason. They look out of place on the other colors, probably because the SMR blends with the light better. I guess I just don't see that bulky edge as much.

here's a shot of what it looks like in the dark. i think it looks better on the 11-12 than the bigger gap between the signal/brake on the 08-10.

It seems like every manufacturer and their mother is creating lamp housings that puff out in all sorts of shapes. Hate it! I wish they would direct their efforts at making plastic that does not create haze that gives cataracts to the headlamps in a few years.

I agree with Aramas entirely. In fact, I think that the reverse lamp on the top flows much better with the body crease at its bottom edge in the older style. The 2011 just seems like change for the sake of change, not actually a real designer's call.
