Sup guys,

Recently, whenever I press the door unlock button on the key fob to my 2013 Sport, the trunk pop's open and the door's remain locked. Anyone ever experience this...?

I replaced the battery but still have the same issue. Also should note, my spare key fob unlocks the doors and opens the trunk just fine.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I recently disconnected my trunk latch because it kept popping open and someone finally grabbed my tool bag. I never figured out why it kept happening.

Is there a crud or a stuck button on the remote?

Does it happen when key fob is in proximity and close enough for it to transmit signal to pop the trunk open?

Does it happen when key fob is not near or in proximity of the vehicle?

There wasn't any crud when I opened up the fob to replace the battery. It happens whenever I am near, within a foot or as far as several feet away.

I’m almost certain it’s the fob as the spare works perfectly fine. Is there a way maybe to reset the fob without having to reprogram it?

If the key has gotten wet, that can damage the circuitry.

I would agree but my key didn’t get wet.

Im sorry, I dont understand your question.

The PCB silicone wrap is not torn, if that's what you're asking.
