I've done some searching and I haven't found anything specific I was looking for. Anyways, I was on ddmtuning.com and found them selling "highpower" Cree 7440 LED bulbs on sale and I'm wondering if it's too long to fit in our reverse light housing. Also, I would like to know if these bulbs are on par with our stock bulbs in terms of output. I had LED reverse lights before and they're not as bright so I put the stock ones back a while ago. Here's the link to the page and let me know what you think.

I have a set of CREE LED bulbs in my car for the reverse, i can say first hand that you loose output when using a cree bulb like that. Because the bulbs are angled in the housing and not straight on, you miss out of the true "punch" a CREE bulb outputs. The only type of LED bulb that has potential to gain output i would guess to be a 360 SMD bulb. Similar to these.

Just my guess with these bulbs. The CREE LED's are great for looks only really. From my experience.
