Will reseting the oil life indicator also reset the other maintenance minders (i.e. B,1,2,etc)? Reason for asking is that I want to make an oil change as I just got the car (used),

Resets em all, just change everything and start fresh

I'm sure Doc was making a joke. It only resets what you clear. So if you just cleared a maintenance code A it's just change the oil, or maintenance code A-1 it's change oil and rotate tires. It won't affect the more lengthy sub codes like 3 (change trans fluid) or 5 (replace coolant).
