So I would like to get some of you experts opinions on this. Ive got a new 2011 Accord Sedan V6, and wanted to change out the wheels. I want something OEM, but with a unique look. I came across these wheels and LOVE the look, and LOVE the price even more. They are OEM wheels from a Lincoln MKS. Specs are 19X8 5X114.3 bolt pattern 44mm offset 63.4mm hub bore. Based on my research, the bolt pattern is good, the offset is PERFECT for me as it will extend the wheels outward +17mm (I currently run 20mm spacers on the stockies and they look good for my taste, maybe a bit out too far for me). The only issue I see is with the bore. 63.4 vs. 64.1 on the honda. But seriously, we are talking about .7mm... I should be able to hone that little bit right off the rim with little effort... who knows, it might just fit depending on tolerances. The other unknown is the center cap... of course I would want to get the Honda H on there.

Does anyone see anything wrong with what Ive said? anyone know of anyone else running these wheels? forsee any problems? Any photoshop experts out there want to give it a whirl?
I am about to pull the trigger as I think this would look GREAT! Thank you all in advance.

True, but those wheels are 18" and I really want 19's. I was close to pulling the trigger on the RDX 19's, but they are pricey. I can get these wheels, new for $560 shipped ! I think that is a great price for OEM quality new wheels.

The design is too similar to stock, I wouldn't pay 500+ for a wheel that's an inch bigger and looks like the stock wheel.
hmm... $560 is the price shipped for (4) wheels... not sure if you realized that. These are really quite different. Stock wheels are 17X7.5 tucked waaay in, and are gunmetal painted. These are 19X8 with a nice offset and are a bright silver color. I think the difference would be dramatic.

Any comments on my original question about fitment??

stock vs. this one:

Hi there AJ - I dont have the wheels on the car yet.. thinking about buying a set. Thise photos are photoshopped. Glad to hear someone likes them !

I think they look pretty decent. If it were me I would do some more shopping and not have to deal with machining the bore. Too bad you missed out on the super sale of the 19" RDX wheels a year or so ago. They were $550ish shipped. :paranoid:

How do you plan to widen the wheel hub to fit the 64.1?
A machine will do that.

The bore is only .7 mm too small. I will enlarge it that little bit with a brake cylinder hone on a drill. You are right though, anything more should be machined as not to throw off the hubcentric fit.

I know... I read some threads about that wheel deal... would have been nice. I think mine will end up with a unique look though. Wheels track to show up this coming monday.

It's great (and money saving)that you can do it yourself! I'd like to see pics when you get them installed.

Ughh ! ! So got the wheels and modified the hub bore to the correct 64.1mm. Problem now is the new wheels have an angled area that is too deep to allow the accord's hub to pass and reach the 64.1mm bore. I would need some kind of hubcentric ring adapter, or hub extender?? Anyone got any ideas?? This is driving me nuts !

I think hub centric rings will be your bestt choice. You can get them on ebay for $10 shipped for all four.

Or machine down the whole inside "face" to where the center bore is 64.1mm.

The best option I have right now is to get a 64.1 to 66.1 hub centric ring. Then i would have to machine the center bore on the rim to 66.1.

Machining the whole inside face of the wheel would take away too much material where the lug nuts have to grab to. I would fear this would weaken the wheel too much.

Well do it then. :D Sorry it's more work than you thought.

I thought about that too. Since you have the wheels in front of you, you can see better how much of the wheel can/can't be milled down.

Will do, I just ordered a set of hub rings. I will get the bore done and give everyone an update. Probably a little more too it here than I thought... but for sure I should have a one of a kind wheel setup!
