I was thinking about doing this retrofit but had one question about the bulbs
I have a regular 6000k hid kit for 9006 setup, would I be able to use that on the h1minis or would I have to get an hid kit from TRS?

You should ask TRS to be sure.. But I think some bulbs are too big for the projectors...

It is called a "Mini H1" because they take H1 bulbs. There is also a "Mini D2S" that takes OEM style D2S bulbs.

No projector will fit your 9006 PnP kit. So, yes, you will need to buy the projectors and new bulbs. Your ballasts can be reused. For $35, I highly suggest you upgrade to TRS' wiring harness over a cheap eBay harness that came with your PnP kit.

So how does the wiring work since my accord has the connectors for a 9006 setup?

TRS - Mini H1 Retrofit Kit (Complete) $270.00 and gives you everything you need. Projectors, bulbs, ballasts, 9006 wiring harness, warranty, and unlimited tech support. Sounds like this will work out best for you :)

The wiring harness (9006) will plug into your OEM factory harness on one side (driver's) and then the other end of the harness will plug into both of your ballasts. Ballasts will then connect to your H1 HID bulbs via AMP connectors. The H1 bulbs are then secured into the projector's bulb holders.

Yeah now it makes sense, it has been so long since I've replaced my old hid bulbs that I forgot how they connect to the ballasts themselves.
So I can use a ballast like mine with a 9006 connection with the h1 bulbs or would I have to use that relay harness?

I strongly suggest the TRS harness. Not only does Matt and his company specialize in retrofitting, with a very strong knowledge base leading the design of the harnesses they create, but they back it by a wonderful warranty. If it were me, I would not want to take the risk of frying my OEM harness at the cost of hundreds to replace just to save $35. Just my $0.02
