It's due for an oil change. You can reset it yourself easily. Instructions are in owners manual. Just hold in trip reset button when turning key in the accessory position. Hold button in for 10 seconds or till light goes off.

A light to remind you to change your oil makes for a POS?

Sell it if you hate it so much. :dunno:[/QUOTE

I inherited this car from my father in law who passed a week before my wedding. The mtn light flashes for a couple minute. It in itself does not make it a pos, but having a dash that looks like Christmas tree does. I expected a better car being a Honda. The tranny gets confused. GM makes better cars than this accord.60000 miles and a lot of noises.]

Expect better out of a 60000 mile car, hell yes. I sold a car that had just under 200k and ran fine and was low maintenance. 22 mpg, not very good at all for a 3.0 v6. I have had 10th or so cars, 2 Toyotas, 2 dodges, a suburu, 3 Chevrolet, a Ford and some were new and some used. This accord is right their with the ford as far as problems go.

I just expected more from a Honda. Lesson learned.
