Hey guys, does anyone know how or where to replace the H in the middle of the steering wheel? Mines is slowly starting to fade away :dunno:

Super glue. You cant just replace it, youll need to get a whole new center or air bag assmbly.....

HAHAHA, truthfully my gf was cleaning my car with bleach wipes, I was actually happy she cleaned it until I saw this and she told me what she used to clean everything...

Just looked it up it's $480 for a new one, all one piece, airbag and all fml...

Charge your gf $480 then or get some equivalent service for the damage (e.g. clean your house and do your laundry for x number of weeks) :naughty:

Mine is starting to do the same thing. I was hoping it was just a layer of clear plastic coming off.....oh well. I would do what others have said and take your time taping it up and re-painting. Share you results with us so we will know what to do with the same problem.

You guys have got some good ideas. I started sanding it down yesterday, but its insanely hard sanding down the square around the H!!! I think im gonna get the bleach wipes back out and finish her job lol.

Also NEVER use bleach wipes on any part of your car!! she wiped off my steering wheel with them and the color on my wheel is starting to fade away now too...

Not a bad idea, might look unique when you're finished. How about picking up some touch up paint and using that? Might look good if it matches the exterior color of your car.
