Just got my lights retrofitted over the weekend and wanted to share some pics. They are morimoto h1's in stock chrome housing.

Me like! Congrats on the retro! How do you like the switchbacks? Those are the ones that are Amber for turn signals, but white when the car is parked? Something along those lines I think...

I like the switchbacks. Where can I find those?
nearly everywhere you buy led auto bulbs from.
I like the switchbacks. The only thing is the are a little too blue. I'll be looking for a whiter set soon. I got mine from Str_led_lighting on eBay. I've gotten a lot of LEDs from him and all have been great.

This is my car before the retro.

Did you modify your resistor or writing to get those to work? I have LED's as my rear turn signals and as soon as I put LED's in the front, I get hyperlink :(

Diode Dynamics has treated me real well, they sell that resistor your looking for and back up their products! Even months after installation, they will send out a replacement right away WITH a return label to mail the defective back to them!
This is where I do my LED shopping now, they have discounts and points earned for every dollar spent for incentives to come back.
I can get you a 10% discount for referring you, HMU if you wannit

I added a resistor to the turn signal module. It's pretty easy and cheap. I don't remember what size resistor I got. I believe there is a DIY somewhere on DA

I have switchbacks in my car, but I want the high power ones...can you share what is the specs of your bulbs. I have the 3528 type tower with 60 smd (30 white/30 amber).
So can someone make this clear what we need to do the switch backs and how they are installed ? Do you just switch out the front stock bulbs with the LED one?

Edit, apparently its plug in play, but how would this work with 04 sedn tht has the amber corners. Would it still output white?

Yes, it's plug n play, just replace the lamps with the new one. It does have an amber reflector that will always be amber until you remove the housing, bake it to remove the lens and pry off the amber reflector. Honestly, if your not much of a DIY'r then just leave it in there bro.

It's a much cleaner look IMHO to have all white up front, it will still be white in your parking light chamber because there is no color in that reflector, just that little 1x4 piece on the side of each headlight housing.

Keep in mind, you MAY need a resistor, all that is is a piece of hardware that goes in between the wire to your light bulb socket. Again, if your not a DIY'r you could try this and see if you can get away without a hyperflash (flashing fast like a bulb went out) I beieve I read that someone changed one set (front or back) to led w/o a problem. It wasn't until he dis the other side (front or back) that he came up with the hyperflash.

Ya, I have something similar. The led size is 3528. I have 120 LEDs (40 white / 80 amber).

I don't know about other companies but I got mine from DDM tuning and they gave me the resistor for like 10 bucks and a 1 year warranty. had it for about a month everything looks good:thmsup:
Just ordered the larger 120 with resistors for 35. Not a terrible deal. Wait and see how it turns out.

Did you do these yourself or have someone make them for you? looking to do the same thing. Really like the light output it offers.

I got them done by a guy in California. Here's a link to his facebook page.
