Okay, so I recently traded in my old 2014 civic SI in fire orange Pearl, and financed a 2018 Accord Sport 2.0t in modern steel ( graphite grey). Giving up my boy racer days from one mature sports that had! My favorite aspects of the car or the sunroof, Type R engine, 19 inch wheels, and LED lights! I actually love the way it drives and every single aspect of the car. just wanted to share my thoughts and feelings without any car she's just a week old her nickname is version 2.0 I'm a networking kind of geek and love the engine! I honestly love everything about the car. It looks like an Audi, and I get a lot of compliments on the cleanliness and color!

The 2018 Accords are sharp looking cars - especially in Sport trim. I do wish they had less road noise on course pavement, but I love the power, interior design, and front and side views.

Yeah, I absolutely love the way the interior looks and feels. It honestly looks like an Audi, and I've received a couple of compliments about that as well! As far as the engine is concerned I LOVE the fact that its literally the mature adult version of the Civic type R!! Like I said, my three to four most favorite aspects of the car over all include Wheels, engine, sunroof, and lights! Still break in the engine in of course. I watch on YouTube that the engine braking. As for the first six hundred miles and I'm at about 300 or so miles now so I have about another 300 more to go until I can start having a little bit more fun so to speak. I love the fact that the engine can take 87 octane gas and not 93 like the type R is tuned for. Other than being a Honda fanatic for life, I just obsessively, passionately love detailing her in the garage, or whenever I get the opportunity to do so. I'm still trying to decide and figure out what kind of floor mats I want to use but I love the look and feel of the carpeted stock floor mats vs. WeatherTech mats which like I said in another post, are very functional but they are ugly as hell!

Check out the Husky liners, I love them, they don't stand out like a sore thumb....also, I went from a 16 Civic EX-T to the EXL 2.0, immense difference! Glad you love yours!

Grats OP! I am 6500 miles and 10 months into my Sport 2.0T and still loving it!

My only advice is watch the curbs. I only curb rashed one wheel so far and it isn't major. No matter how careful you are it will happen unfortunately. I did it when I was sick while pulling into a drive-thru pharmacy lane which had stupid wide curbs...

Yeah it's a good change. Love the entire package! The husky liners look slightly better than the WeatherTech mats, however, not by much. Sorry, I'm just very passionate....not sure what I want to do yet.

Thank you, nothing has happened yet of course. However, my 2014 Civic SI Wheels head horrible horrible crash! I'm trying to be great about this sport obviously! Treating it as a new car still cuz it is it's almost a week old, and once breaking. Over 600 miles is over then I'll start to have a little bit more fun with her. Love detailing her, and putting tire shine making the wheels look all great and amazing!

I started off with a 2000 Si many many years ago and I'm too leaving my speed racer days behind. I love this color as it still night resembles the elctron blue of my old Si. I get so many looks and compliments with this car is amazing. I can't wait for my Eibach lowering springs to arrive and have them installed. Whereabouts in NJ are you? I'm also located in NJ.

I understand, worse case scenario if you keep the carpeted mats and wear it out, replace it after a few years even, shouldn't be too expensive

Nice car.

If you are using Google Translation to English try smaller sentences so the sentences are not garbled. Are you saying that your car is broken?

Yuppers, true that! I'll probably just replace them with another set of I'm carpeted floor mats. They do look pretty good!

Nice car.

Sorry if my sentences were too long. I'm using voice text as I mostly always use voice text everything on my phone. No no no my car is just fine thank you.

I just went out of state to get a new Sport 2.0T 6sp in Modern Steel Metallic this week myself. I traded my 2014 Accord EX 6sp which was also MSM, and before my 2014, I had a 2005 Accord EX 5sp manual. I also had sporty Civics back in the day, and the best thing about the Accord is that it’s smooth and comfortable and a “grown-up car” but is still fun to drive. The fact that you’re having fun driving can remain your little secret without drawing unwanted attention in the Accord. If I need attention, I also have a Ford Raptor which is kind of the opposite of all things Honda. Lol

The things I like about my Accord Touring 1.5T are:

-HUD
-Ventilated seats
-Honda Sensing system
-Handling
-Fuel Mileage/Acceleration
-Android/Apple integration
-Driving modes
and finally that it is Honda

Hard/aggressive braking

I just did some heavy / aggressive breaking in my sport 2.0 T, and I must say it braks and handles like a performance sedan! Very solid feeling iland stable and reassuring!

Yeah that's what I love most about it! It's the biggest type R sleeper sedan in the world that I think of! Handling is great and I haven't even come close to pushing it yet. Still driving it like a conservative nanny!

Congrats! Your car looks good. If you want good mats that have nice look and perform like weathertech try these. https://3d-maxpider.com/floor-liners-by-make-model/honda-accord.html
Oh wow, those actually look pretty cool! I'll have to check them out moreso thank you so much!

Yes, the handling is phenomenal, all dynamics of the car perfect! Can't wait to try out sport mode when the engine is fully broken in! 10 speed automatic trans is butter smooth and just pulls and pulls! The seats are Soo supportive, and comfortable!

Do you find that the ventilated seats work well? I have read conflicting reports.
We live in South Florida and they work great for us. Hot and sticky 6 months out of the year. I like that they stay on after a restart. My GM defaults to off once you turn the engine off. I have to turn them on each time I start the car...really dumb but then again it is a GM.

After 3 months, I can't really find anything to complain about..of course, those cheesy carpet mats don't really count, because nobody's feet ever rested on ours. I checked them out in our test drive car, and ordered in a set of Husky Weatherbeaters before the Accord was ever delivered. I guess there has to be a shortcoming in every product, and those stock floor mats are like the cheapest remnants on sale at Michaels.
But the performance of this car has lived up to my every expectation, and in some cases beyond.

Yeah, one of the things that I love about my sport 2.0t is the color! It's stealthy looking!

Agree to all.

I got the car and initially thought the seats were too hard.... Got used to them in three days. The aren't supposed to feel like a lazy boy.

My favorite feature is radar cruise control.... Used to have to pay $60k minimum to get it. ?
